USDA Angus, Meltique, or Saikoro Wagyu — Which Cut for Your Budget?

Premium steak isn't one thing. The right pick depends on your taste, your skill at the pan, and your budget. Here's a plain-language guide to our four tiers — all delivered cold, all spec'd by grade, cut, and weight.

USDA Angus (butter-aged 28 days) — the dependable classic

This is your everyday hero: well-marbled USDA Angus, butter-aged 28 days for tenderness and depth. Beefy, balanced, and forgiving in the pan, it's the cut to learn on and the one you'll reorder. Great as ribeye, porterhouse, or T-bone.

Gold Artisan — a step up in refinement

When you want something a notch more special than your weekly Angus without leaping to wagyu, Gold Artisan delivers a cleaner, more refined eating experience. Ideal for a date night or a small celebration.

Meltique (tallow-infused) — wagyu-style richness, friendlier price

Meltique is beef infused with beef tallow to thread buttery fat through the muscle, giving you that melt-in-the-mouth richness associated with wagyu at a far gentler price. If you love a lush, fatty bite but don't want to spend wagyu money, this is your cut. It rewards a hot, careful sear.

Saikoro Wagyu — the splurge

At the top sits Saikoro Wagyu: intense marbling, buttery texture, and that signature wagyu finish. This is the special-occasion steak — anniversaries, milestones, "we earned this" nights. A little goes a long way; cook it gently and let the fat do the talking.

Matching cut to budget (₱689–₱1,649/pack)

  • Tight budget / everyday: USDA Angus or a Saver Set.
  • Mid-range / treat night: Gold Artisan or Meltique.
  • Splurge / occasion: Saikoro Wagyu.

Because there's no minimum order, you can buy a single pack to try a tier before committing — and our Saver Sets stretch the budget further when you're feeding a crowd.
